Fischer's United Supply, Inc. was founded in 1949 by Frank Fischer. His current employer was going out of business so Frank bought a sugar contract from him, and Fischer's was founded. Fischer's spent the first few years distributing sugar and slowly started to expand.

Bakeries were Fischer's main customers in the '60s so a production line was added to create ready to use donut fillings, icings, glazes, and turnover fillings. In the late '80s the production line was used to start bottling sauces and dressings for the food industry. By the mid 2000s these products were being made for retail distribution.

Today, Fischer's is still a local family business. It started out only selling one product but quickly expanded. Fischer's carries more than 1,000 products and continues to expand. The fourth generation of Fischer's continues to provide quality products and continues to stay on top of trends in the food service industry.
